Rehs Galleries, Inc.

New York City art gallery specializing in 19th, 20th and 21st century works of art. Primary focus is on Barbizon, Realist and Academic artists who exhibited at the Paris Salon, London's Royal Academy and the National Academy between 1850 and 1920. Works by the following artists are typically on display att the gallery: Rosa Bonheur, Eugene Boudin, William Bouguereau, Jean B.C. Corot, Edouard Cortes, Julien Dupre, Daniel Ridgway Knight, Henry Moret, Emile Munier, and others. Along with its space in New York City, each year the gallery participates in 8 - 10 art, or art and antique, fairs throughout the country. Currently the gallery, and/or members of its staff, belong to the following associations: Fine Art Dealers Association (FADA) – Howard Rehs, President 1997-2009; Internal Revenue Service's Art Advisory Panel (Howard Rehs - member since 2008); Association of Historians of Nineteenth-Century Art - Honorary Life-time (Howard Rehs, 2009); Art & Antique Dealers League of America, LAPADA, Antiques Council and C.I.N.O.A. The current gallery staff includes Howard L. Rehs, Amy S. Rehs, Lance J. Rehs and Alyssa. T. Rehs.
