Rekhas was started by Mrs & Mr Rekha Alimchandani in 1990. Mr. Alimchandani was a fabric merchant who used to source fabrics from European countries for the elite of Indonesia. However he found that there was a shortage of good craftsmen to convert the fine fabrics into impeccable garments and therefore along with his wife, Mrs. Rekha Alimchandani, founded Rekhas Tailors by engaging master craftsmen from various countries to fulfill the need of fashionable Indonesian elite to dress impeccably. Mr. Malik Alimchandani continues the tradition of combining the finest fabrics, materials, master craftsmen and state of the art technology to create masterpieces for the patrons of Rekhas. Mr.Malik Alimchandani often travels to Europe in search of excellence and continues to source the trendiest and latest fabrics and materials for the fashionable gentlemen of Indonesia. Cloth & Craft: We guide our client in choosing the fabric based on our client’s taste, physical attributes and occasion.
