We started our journey back in 2018 with the belief that our ability to understand both ourselves and others, is the key to successful and meaningful relationships. Our ambition is to make profound connection and authentic communication fun and simple, to bring people closer in order to reduce loneliness, superficiality and polarization in society. Ultimately, we want to contribute to a more conscious, authentic and inclusive world with deeper human connection and understanding.
In our apps we combine relationship psychology with tools from personal development to help people get to know themselves better and to express themselves in an authentic and simple way.
Behind Relate is the values-based leadership and personal development company Self Leaders and we collaborate with renowned relationship experts and psychologists in creating our products and services.
We're most known for our alternative dating-app where you find a partner based on your personal values (Relate Date), but we also have an app for couples to grow closer through daily exercises based on relationship psychology (Relate Boost). We co-produce the popular relationship podcast Så Kan Det Gå (1M+ listens) and host the highly appreciated webinar series Relate Love Lab. Together with our psychologists we also produce a range of educational content and tools such as articles, self-assessment tests, conversation games and meditations, in order to help people gain more self-awareness and connect on a deeper level.
