The Relay platform enables real-time collaboration between first responders and their neighbors in the communities they live.
Relay Citizen directs non-emergency incidents straight to the mobile terminals in nearby officer vehicles, and includes pictures, pinpoint GPS locations, and straight-from-the-source information about what's going on. Residents hear back in real time about the resolution. Anyone can download our apps or use Relay in a web browser, for free, anywhere in the United States.
Relay Responder allows first responders to run on and reply to incidents, and can interact with their community members directly to gather more information as a situation evolves. Often calls can be resolved without even having to drive to the scene, saving time and valuable attention away from major emergencies.
Although Relay is a new technology, it was conceived of by a police chief who believes that officer safety is paramount and that more effective policing is done when officers are closer to the communities they protect. That means meeting people where they are (their smartphones), respecting their privacy to build trust, and using data to make better decisions about how to push your agency forward.
