Release Mates is a group of prison leavers in recovery from addiction who support other prison leavers on the day of their release. We support with practical issues such as food, clothing, and housing whilst using our own lived experience of the Criminal Justice System to trigger a motivation for positive change.
Each prison leaver who successfully embraces pro-social change through the Release Mates project is given the opportunity to return as a volunteer to support others.
