REMESS, Moroccan Network of the Social and Solidarity Economy

Created in 2006 from a group of 24 associations, the Moroccan Network of the Social and Solidarity Economy aims to fight against inequalities and exclusion in Morocco. REMESS is part of the concept of the Social and Solidarity Economy, which defends a democratic approach to the economy where social relations take precedence over individual interest and profit. The network is made up of cooperatives, associations, mutual societies, foundations, economic interest groups, and professional unions that participate in humane and inclusive development while respecting the environment and Moroccan culture. In this logic, REMESS also works to strengthen the link between institutional actors and civil society thanks to a competent and solid team.
