Revenue Mobilisation, Investment and Trade (REMIT) programme is a five-year (2019-24) technical assistance programme funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), United Kingdom to support Pakistan in implementing strategic reforms in the realm of economic development, trade, Investment and revenue mobilisation. The key
reform outcomes will be contributing to strengthening the macroeconomic stability and improving conditions for high and sustained growth, mutual prosperity, job creation and poverty reduction in Pakistan. It will aid the Govt. of Pakistan in strengthening the tax revenue mobilisation, improve the investment climate for businesses, facilitate trade by reducing barriers to trade, and lastly, modernise the development of macroeconomic policy to reduce risk of financial crises.
