RRSA is a registered Faith-based Non-Profit Organization whose mission is to
break the cycle of substance abuse and dysfunctional families, creating better, stronger, healthier
communities.
We undertake various projects that are aimed at preventing and reducing the use
and abuse of substances and decreasing relapse rates. This includes, early
intervention programs (substance use and abuse awareness at schools), support
groups (offered to addicts and their families), networking with various
rehabilitation centre's and doing placements when required, distributing "care
packs" to individuals who lack the support from their families. In addition to
these community services, RRSA is in the process of (subject to funding),
establishing an extensive training and development centre which will function as
an "aftercare" facility. The centre will enable individuals who have successfully
completed their rehabilitation programs but are disadvantaged and lack the
support and resources, with the necessary skills, tools and job opportunities that
will enable them to be integrated back into society.
Our Organisation consists of a team of equipped professionals , Social workers,
Counsellors, Community workers etc, who are passionate about being change
agents in the betterment of society.
