The tactile responses communicate directly to a person’s skin and have many applications for sports, medical, entertainment, gaming, wayfinding and transportation. The sense of touch is a key component of communication but is often overlooked in today’s visual and auditory heavy digital world. At ReMo Technology, we see that tactile responses have the ability to enhance communication between people, to help reduce stress, to speed up learning new movements for sports, aid in physical therapy and to guide movements for injury prevention and recovery. There are also many applications in entertainment from music, to gaming to VR creating more immersive experiences. Finally, we see the haptic can be used in mobility for wayfinding, warnings and safety. Imagine a steering wheel or car seat that vibrate when it senses your starting to doze off. ReMo Technology creates a textile material with tactile responses. We sell Tactile Textile Display (TTD) components to manufacturers that wants to add this value and functionality to their products.
