Remote First Aid is an international training consultancy registered in the UK, and training across Europe and East Africa, specialising in First Aid and Trauma training courses for those who do not have immediate access to medical care, or medical facilities. I set up, developed and ran this business whilst based in Kenya, and at the same time worked with a small local NGO, Train Medics, to develop their capacity to take this over. The business and assets were transferred to Train Medics in early 2014, and continues to run high quality, effective, Kenyan-owned training courses today.
