Remote Insights’ Sow Management Solution predicts and improves sow survivability and performance by detecting health issues (e.g. lameness, lack of feeding,...) and events of interest (e.g. estrus, impending delivery...) as well as informing employees where they need to be and what actions they need to take. With employee turnover rates as high as 40% and an average of 1 employee for every 300 sows, it is a significant challenge for sow operations to ensure frequent and consistent observations of each sow, and to ensure that the right decision is being made based on the sow’s history, current well being, herd’s profile, operation’s performance targets and market dynamics.
