LOLC Kenya Microfinance Bank PLC was licensed in January, 2011 to do deposit taking business as the first start-up Company after successful inspection of premises, policies, systems and procedures by Central Bank of Kenya. It was the fifth over-all to get licensed after the enactment of the Microfinance Act.
Our main mandate as a regulated institution is to facilitate an-all-inclusive financial system in order to bridge the financial gap especially in the rural areas and the informal sector. The KEY MFB offers a range savings products to entrench the saving culture and tailor made micro loan products to uplift, empower our micro finance clients.
