The transition to renewables avoided 13 million tonnes of CO2 = to 1/4 of all cars off the road in NI. Reaching the Climate Act target of 80% renewable electricity by 2030 will unlockan additional£110million a year. In addition to securing a clean energy future, it will create jobs and add GVA of £4.5bn to the Northern Ireland economy. However, this target is at risk!
