Since the very first participation of the Russian Federation at Gulfood 2016, both Russian producers and traders from Arabian Gulf saw the demand for high-quality products that are made in Russia. Thus, the Russian Export Promotion Center (REPC) was established to promote the products of the agro-industrial sector of the Russian Federation in United Arab Emirates. U.A.E. was selected for the location of REPC due to its reputation as a leading trading and logistics hub in the region and in recognition of the friendly ties between Russia and the UAE. REPC is operated by Dubai Consultancy on behalf of the Russian Export Center JSC (REC).
