The pilot for this effort was the first ever unit-level tracking study in a retail environment; and its results substantiated the validity and feasibility of RFID within corporate asset management applications. Neco thus envisioned the exciting possibilities of RFID technology early on in his professional career. With extensive IT experience, he saw the various ways in which RFID could improve business processes in a more efficient and cost-effective manner. With RES, Neco hoped to change the perception of RFID to a cost-justifiable, data accuracy real-world application technology.
