Local Clay for Local Community Current banner of the organisation includes; THE FACTORY - processing clay extracted from local construction sites - experimenting various techniques of clay processing adapted to our climate condition THE RESEARCH & DESIGN LAB - analysing the nature of the clay - archiving the data - researching & designing use of clay on various platforms (pottery, cladding, art, architecture etc...) - collaborating with makers, researchers, designers, schools and institutions THE CERAMIC STUDIO - giving classes and courses - offering seasonal specialist workshops & talks - above related to building & advancing skills for ceramic makers
