NoorderRuimte is a Research Centre for Built Environment which develops and shares knowledge about spatial problems in Northern Netherlands. Our approach seeks to improve the fit between the space in Northern Netherlands and the people that work and reside there. Professors, researchers, and students use practice-based questions from their field of action as a basis for multidisciplinary research. In our research we integrate, for instance, knowledge from architecture, civil engineering, construction management, facility management, human technology, and real estate management.
