UKRI Research England is a public body that creates and sustains the conditions for a healthy and dynamic research and knowledge exchange system in English universities. To do this, we: > Fund universities to deliver research and knowledge exchange, unlocking potential, generating impact and meeting national priorities and global challenges. > Gather evidence of the impact of current and future policy on the university sector, including its effectiveness, efficiency and sustainability. > Engage with universities to understand strategy, capability and capacity so that we can support continuous improvement and behaviour change. > Work closely with the UK's devolved administrations and the Office for Students on UK-wide activity. We are part of UK Research and Innovation.
