The Research Center Balanced Energy Systems researches and develops solutions within the energy transition, strives to maintain a balance between energy supply and demand, in place and in time, and focuses on the reliability and affordability of electrical energy supply in close cooperation with grid operator TenneT in the form of the Special Research Center Reliable Power Supply. Our focus is on developing, modeling and validating sustainable (hybrid) energy systems within two program lines. In addition, the focus is on developing control strategies, facilitating innovations and integrating power electronics. In order to keep the electrical infrastructure sustainable, reliable and affordable. We are involved in research and demonstration projects and implement them together with industry.
