Research Inputs and Development Action (RIDA)

Research Inputs and Development Action (RIDA) is Nepal based international research firm with plenty of experiences and expertise in research, evaluation, assessment and advocacy in various development sector. The organization was first established during 1980s with an objective to provide research support to development interventions so as to ensure evidence led development practices. RIDA has its presence in three geographical regions: South Asia, Asia-Pacific, and Africa. Research Input and Development Action Private Limited (RIDA) is highly capable in field mobilization as it covers extensive network throughout Asia and its sub-regions. Within Nepal, it has extensive network in all 75 districts which composes of local NGOs and contact persons. It has working partnership relations with various international agencies as well as well build structure with central level institutions of different countries, especially in south Asia. The key development oriented ministries that RIDA worked with included Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Women, Children and Social Welfare, Ministry of Local Development, Ministry of Environment etc. RIDA has experience of delivering quality outputs to its clients like World Bank, ADB, UNDP, UNICEF, UNESCO, CTAC, Action Aid, Oxfam GB and also national financial institutions.
