Research Unit for Plastic Surgery

Welcome to the Research Unit for Plastic Surgery at Odense University Hospital. Our mission is to generate the highest quality evidence to establish new standards of care for our patients. Through our research, we aim to refine existing techniques and lead the way in developing innovative treatment methods. This includes creating solutions for patient groups that currently have limited or no treatment options. We conduct a diverse range of research projects, from large clinical trials and feasibility studies to quality assurance initiatives. Patient involvement is at the heart of our work, and we engage them at every stage, from planning to evaluation.
