Researchers Without Borders

Researchers Without Borders (RWB) is a regional feminist organization established in 2022 to track the implementation of the women, peace and security (WPS) agenda in Africa. This new initiative seeks to research security trends in Africa and their impact on the WPS agenda working with feminist researchers and peace activists to promote sustainable peace and security through the implementation of the United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325 at national and regional levels in Africa. We strive to provide a civil society perspective on the implementation of the WPS in Africa through research and regional platforms that interrogate WPS implementation at national and regional levels. We work with partners to provide data on WPS implementation to influence policy and practice in the African region.
