This podcast aims to increase visibility of inspiring social scientists and of cutting-edge research with a focus on ethnic, cultural, and migration-related diversity. Each episode, we invite one guest researcher who provides her/his/their own personal story in academia. We welcome researchers from a wide range of fields and backgrounds to provide space for various perspectives and to expand existing stories about who can be a researcher. After providing the personal story, the guest continues to recommend and discuss one scientific article that has recently inspired or influenced her/him/them personally or professionally.
While this podcast is timely, it seeks to address past, present, and future global and scientific developments. We aim to shed light on a diverse array of individual scholars and articles of excellence that can facilitate and inspire the discussion about diversity-related topics and advancements in the field. By doing so, we aim to set an example of using research as basis of
diversity-related discourse.
