RAME is the network for student mobility! We are the first North American organization dedicated to enhancing the reception of international students while supporting the university services devoted to them, aiming to offer them an unforgettable experience.
RAME was born from a realization: international students are not always well-received by North American universities. Welcome programs are often non-existent in the majority of institutions. Yet, these students expect to live the experience of a lifetime, discover a new culture, make friends from around the world, and create unforgettable memories. The university services dedicated to these students are often understaffed, with their primary mission being to finalize agreements and ensure academic and immigration follow-ups. The integration difficulties faced by students further burden these services.
RAME enhances the experience of international students by offering a program that supports them from their first to their last day, ensuring they feel fully integrated into their university and new city. Additionally, we assist the international services of universities by taking full responsibility for the reception and support of each student through our committees composed of regular and volunteer students. This service contributes to the international reputation of the universities by offering students a unique experience and positions Montreal, Canada, and North America as essential destinations for an international experience.
