RESET - Research and Education in Social Empowerment and Transformation

RESET aims to “create prosperous and inclusive societies” through Research, Education and Dialogue. At RESET our areas of expertise are: 1.Research and education at local, European and international levels and in areas related to youth, environment, gender equality, anti-discrimination, arts and culture, entrepreneurship and migrant integration. 2.Participatory approaches such as applying youth-led actions, as well as co-creation and user-driven frameworks- to achieve Active Participation and Citizenship 3.Integration and reintegration of vulnerable groups to achieve Inclusion and Diversity (such as with the elderly, disabled and other marginalised groups- LGBTQIA+/Migrant communities) 4.Educational and creative technologies to achieve digital resilience and Transformation. (i.e. online learning platforms as well as the creative and technical production of documentaries. 5.Dialogue frameworks such as Youth-Led Dialogue, Community-Led Dialogue and Multi-stakeholder Dialogue to promote and achieve positive Social transformation.RESET has been awarded as one of the two organisations responsible for the coordination and implementation of YoungCities, a programme funded by the Youth Board of Cyprus, with the aim of empowering young people to make positive and active changes in their communities. RESET was mainly responsible for the design and delivery of a ten-week educational programme that promoted education towards community change among young people using innovative learning tools and approaches.
