Every single one of us has obstacles that we are constantly trying to overcome. These obstacles can be mental, physical, financial, emotional issues etc. The rock is meant to be a physical representation of these obstacles. However, in all of our designs, the individual is actively "carving the rock" to break free and overcome these circumstances. You will notice that the sizes of the rocks differ among our designs as everyone’s battle is different. Lastly, every design has a rock that was purposely left unfinished to represent that no matter how far you've already come, there's always room for further improvement.
