What will our world look like in the year 2032? Resilience invites you to live the future NOW, by playing an active role in the 2032 US presidential election. It's only 12 short years from now, but our world will look very different, especially if we fail to adequately address climate change, data ethics, and systematic inequality.
This social media theatre experience will unfold in real-time across multiple platforms, in many of the ways we currently engage with our election: news articles, social media posts, conversation threads, personal interactions, etc. Participants will be invited to create their own content, share their voice, and shape the story. The experience is designed to actively engage participants, incorporate their content into the narrative, and adapt the outcome based on their actions.
The goal of the project is to bring awareness of the SDG's to a young audience, explore the complex ways our local and global issues will shape our future everyday lives, & challenge participants to reflect on how our current actions are shaping our future reality. By incorporating futures thinking into an entertainment experience, we can engage the disengaged and inspire action now!
