About Resilient2025
Resilient 2025 aims to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and knowledge exchange on the transformation towards resilient energy systems. Given that critical infrastructure, such as water and food supply, transportation, healthcare, digital communication, and industry, fundamentally depends on energy, the symposium seeks to explore how the transition towards a more electrified, decentralized, and digitalized energy system can be effectively managed while ensuring sustainability, security, and resilience. Resilient 2025 is organized by the Swedish Competence Centre RESILIENT energy systems, led by Mälardalen University, in collaboration with the international journals Applied Energy and Advances in Applied Energy, the Applied Energy Innovation Institute (AEii), and the Swedish Competence Centres Solar Electricity Research Centre, Swedish Mobility Centre, Swedish Centre for Sustainable Hydro Power, Trees for Me and Electricity Storage and Balancing Centre. The event consists of a three-day symposium in Västerås (SEP 23-25) for sharing the most recent progress of research and development in resilient energy systems. The main key topics are: • Intelligent & Flexible System • Fossil free Energy • Energy Management, Policy, Economics and Sustainability • Energy Storage • Hydrogen Energy
