Founded in 2009 Resolution Biomedical Inc (RBI) wanted to bring a new generation of affordable liquid-based cytology cancer screening technology to the medical laboratory marketplace. After years of perfecting, RBI launched ClearPrep an FDA registered high quality, reagent-based cytology slide preparation process that provides superior results over the conventional methodology.
During 2014 RBI began to expand into developing world medical markets, such as South America, Eastern Europe, and South East Asia to provide an affordable laboratory option.
The process allows for reflex tests for HPV 16, 18 known to cause cervical cancer and other STD tests from the same collected sample.
Other uses for this innovative affordable microscopy slide preparation is Fine Needle Aspirates, Bladder cancer screening of Urine specimens, Oral cancer screening and more in development.
