My name is Pawel Makulski, I am the owner of Resolve IT. Since 2005 I have worked for a couple of companies and have +13 years experience in the IT industry. Visi Connex Ltd - An Alarm and CCTV Monitoring Centre. Working as the IT Manager/CTO in Visi Connex over the years I have designed, implemented and managed hundreds of wireless networks, ranging from small home office networks to large and complex networks for large businesses. I have also designed and implemented a few wireless CCTV town security systems. My experience with Visi Connex includes Linux Server Management (SUSE, Slackware, Ubuntu), IP Telephone System Management (3COM NBX), Firewall and Network Management (MikroTik, Cisco, Watchguard), IT Infrastructure Monitoring (Nagios). Bitalo AG - A Bitcoin Trading Platform. As a Founding Member, Security Specialist and a CTO of Bitalo AG I had been responsible for the Dedicated Server and Virtual Private Servers configuration, implementation and management. The tools used included ProxMox, iptables, pfSense, Snort. My key achievement there was to design a customised and sophisticated Intrusion Detection System as part of Bitalo's application for a BaFin (Federal Financial Supervisory Authority of Germany) Trading License, which Bitalo AG was awarded in 2018. In April 2018 I have decided to finally start my solely owned IT business - Resolve IT.
