Resonate Arts produces a pioneering programme of creative activities and experiences for and with people living with dementia and their carers in the boroughs of Westminster and Kensington & Chelsea.
We believe engagement in arts and culture has long-lasting effects on people’s health and wellbeing and on their quality of life. By taking the time to build and maintain relationships with people living with dementia, we aim to reduce social isolation and help build strong communities.
We run our own programme of dementia friendly sessions with partners such as Wigmore Hall, the V&A, Opera Holland Park and the Royal Academy of Music. These include Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST) groups, our Singing with Friends Choir, Creative Space art sessions, concerts and music workshops. We also offer a 1:1 Creative Befriending service that has a unique arts focus and is supported by an experienced team of staff with a background in the arts.
We also produce a monthly newsletter listing memory cafes and dementia friendly sessions taking place across Westminster, Kensington & Chelsea.
