Electricity and heating are the largest sources of global emissions. Re(Source) Energy is an energy carbon credit company. We give homeowners and other small solar system operators the ability to finance their solar power installations with carbon offset credits on Alberta's regulatory carbon trading market. Our goal is to redirect carbon trading proceeds to decarbonize and empower Albertan homes and communities. We aim to export this carbon offset model to other high-emission electricity grids worldwide. We believe in empowering individuals to share their energy. Our mission is to make distributed energy resources more affordable and accessible. Re(source) Energy provides tools for homeowners and communities to benefit from Alberta’s $2.3 billion+ regulated carbon market. This helps offset rising electricity prices and contributes to a cleaner, smarter, more resilient, and decentralized electricity grid. Incorporated in 2021, we continuously improve our services, explore strategies to reduce the cost of distributed energy systems, and collaborate with private and public sector partners. Our vision is a future where every home can create its own energy.
