Resource Geosystems, LLC

Resource Geosystems, LLC is an information development and services firm conducting business through its two divisions, the Keller Map Company and AppalaGIS. Both were specifically established to fill existing voids in spatial information products and services within their respective areas of operation. The Keller Map Company facilitates responsible development of western Kentucky's petroleum resources. Its main product, the Keller Maps, named after their founder, H.E. Keller, are a rich source of historical information on farms, operators, and well locations dating back to the early 20th century. With 273 individual map sheets, each covering five minutes of longitude and latitude, they are the only commercially published oil and gas farm maps of western Kentucky available to the public. The Keller Map Company is guided by the desire to generate timely and valuable insight. The maps are being digitized and updated to make them more accessible and easier to integrate into a contemporary workflow. New features and coverages are being developed to increase their impact on petroleum exploration and development efforts. As the conversion process advances the original hand-drawn maps will be permanently retired. The Keller Maps are owned by Gregory Cornett and managed by Resource Geosystems, LLC dba the Keller Map Company.
