Respo Gadgets is a medical start-up company which aims to provide practical and smart ''gadgets'' for respiratory diseases.
Our first product will be a mouthpiece device called ''Dormio'' for the treatment of the sleep apnea syndrome. The project has been initiated as a master thesis study at The Institute of Biomedical Engineering - Bogazici University.
The outstanding results of academic studies lead us to the pursuit of improving life quality in patients with obstructive sleep apnea syndrome.
Dormio mouthpiece is an innovative, silent, portable and comfortable oral device to be used in mild to moderate level obstructive sleep apnea treatment. The product is called Dormio, it minimizes user disturbances and side-effects, maximizes patient comfort while efficiently treating the syndrome. Next generations of Dormio will come with high technology features and result in more developed product family.
