Responsible AI Across Borders (RAIxB) aims to be the platform where research and design stakeholders can develop ethically responsible AI themes of common interest and collaborate on interdisciplinary and impactful projects that address societal issues.
Specifically, we seek to:
1. Advance the design, development, and use of AI systems that uphold ethical standards, protect human rights, and promote inclusivity by tackling issues like algorithmic bias, data privacy, and human agency across various research and design fields.
2. Facilitate cross-disciplinary knowledge sharing and collaboration by bringing together people from different backgrounds to exchange insights, case studies, and best practices on responsibly integrating AI into their work, thereby fostering innovation through interdisciplinary teamwork.
3. Support capacity building and policy advocacy by helping more individuals and institutions, especially those in underserved regions or sectors, develop the skills needed to use AI responsibly, while influencing policies that ensure AI benefits everyone.
