About Responsible Plastic Management (RPM) Program CIC
RPM Program is a not-for-profit assurance and support initiative. We operate globally & have a strategic partnerships with clients and with certification bodies, LRQA and Control Union. We are against plastic mismanagement and support responsible management practices. RPM is applicable for any type of organisation regardless of size or sector. Why not Support us & Follow us. Enquire about a Plastic Review. Set up by a collective of plastic, sustainability & certification experts, we operate for the benefit & protection of society, the oceans & water systems & the environment. We established RPM with an aim to become the responsible plastic management global assurance program & online directory of engaged organisations. The governance and technical structure is based on ISO 17065 accreditation criteria and we have welcomed peer reviews of the standards and systems that are used. The RPM Program is a journey and can involve reviewing context, training and the measurement and verification of efforts in Responsible Plastic Management. The RPM Standard is a systems and control standard. It is available and has been tested for practicality & integrity: The RPM Program is managed by a team with decades of experience in assurance management. The Program management & direction is led by Program Director, Dave Garforth, supported by regional teams of experts. Verification activity for RPM is managed by established & recognised third party certification bodies with ISO accreditation credentials. The RPM Program is a journey & application is open to all organizations. Organizations can start with Plastic reviews and training and awareness and then if desired move to certification. The aim is to help eliminate avoidable plastic and ensure that, where possible, plastic waste can be reused, recycled or repurposed. There is no time like the present to engage, to get started & make positive changes for your organisations. There is little excuse to do nothing.
