The RESPTREC courses provide the highest standard of training in asthma, COPD and education for health care professionals wishing to challenge the Canadian Network for Respiratory Care national certification.
Online learning and hands-on workshops are offered.
The development and content for the courses have been guided by clinical experts, Canadian guidelines committee members, respiratory educators, education consultants, researchers and individuals representing various health care professions.
OUR PROGRAM IS UNIQUE IN THAT IT HAS BEEN ENDORSED BY: The Canadian Thoracic Society, Family Physicians Airways Group of Canada, The Canadian Respiratory Health Professionals, and The Lung Association.
Current programs include:
Education - Chronic Disease Management Educator course (a course suitable for those working with clients living with ANY chronic disease)
Disease-specific educator training courses: Asthma, COPD, and IPF
Skills-based course: Spirometry
