Stefan's culinary journey began in Lower Austria, inspired by a rich family tradition. By age 18, he was the youngest GMC in Austria, with a career that included leadership roles in Michelin-starred restaurants and experience with renowned chefs across Europe. In 2023, after a successful stint at the Fish Bar at the Naschmarkt, Stefan and Nora opened Restaurant DOUBEK in Vienna’s vibrant 8th district. Here, each dish emphasizes product quality and intense yet pure flavors, inviting guests to appreciate the artistry of cooking and feel a genuine sense of belonging.
