Led by Artistic Director Michelle Ryan, Restless Dance Theatre is Australia’s leading creator and collaborator of dance theatre by dancers with and without disability. Restless Dance Theatre creates contemporary performances that transcend expectations of what dance can be, and how and where it should be experienced. Restless is made up of a dance company, an emerging artists program, an annual program of classes for regular training and speciality workshops, a residency program, an education outreach program, and we hold masterclasses with some of the world’s best creatives throughout the year. At the helm of our company is a diverse team of highly skilled artists and experienced arts administrators, stabilising and steadily growing the organisation with innovative artistic voices and strong business acumen.
