Restoring Pride

Restoring Pride, Inc. believes that safe, stable housing is the first and most essential weapon in battling and overcoming homelessness and addiction among the LGBTQ community and giving them a chance start anew. Restoring Pride is committed to arresting and ending the homelessness among members of the LGBTQ community who suffer from addiction to drugs like crystal meth. Our mission is to give members of the LGBTQ community, suffering from addiction and chronic homelessness, the chance to start anew, as many times as it takes. Restoring Pride provides the vulnerable members of the LGBTQ with safe, stable transitional housing for up to a year and numerous programs and services collocated on premise with only one string attached: get better and begin again and to become the successful contributor they once were and will be again. Our guiding philosophy at Restoring Pride is: 1) this is a huge problem but it is problem that is worth solving and we will; 2) our approach is built from the experience of being homeless and that knowledge influences our mission and everything we do to achieve it; 3) traditional services have not worked and an innovative set of solutions is required and we will deliver.
