ReThink Milling is commercializing the Conjugated Anvil Hammer Mill (CAHM) platform technologies to transform comminution circuits used in the minerals processing plants globally. The ported variant is a coarse grinding machine to replace Semi-Autogenous Grinding (SAG) mills and High-Pressure Grinding Roll (HPGR) mills. The MonoRoll variant is a fine grinding machine to replace or retrofit ball mills.
The technology was invented by Lawrence Nordell and has been advanced to pilot-scale demonstrations by a ReThink Mining-led consortium with 8 mining companies providing financial and technical support to the consortium. Comminution & Transportation Tech Inc. (CTTI) and partners provide technical and engineering support. A number of key vendors to the mining industry also support through their complimentary contributions.
