Our main product is advanced software that uses AI to analyze retinal images and automatically detect signs of ocular diseases such as diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma. Our tool allows technicians with basic training to take diagnostic-quality retinal images, regardless of the device used. Retinar's AI analyzes the images in real-time, verifying their quality, recommending options to improve them, and instantly identifying signs of diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma, generating an instant pre-diagnosis for the patient. Suspected cases are reviewed by ophthalmologists registered on the platform, who issue a detailed report within 24-48 hours, using our AI-based tools to facilitate the identification of pathological features and determine the optimal treatment. The patient receives the report by email, accompanied by the complete study and treatment recommendations, so they can go to the nearest health center to treat their condition.
Additionally, Retinar has its own platform optimized for screening campaigns and APIs to access its diagnostic algorithms. Retinar is the result of over 10 years of research and development by scientists from CONICET and UNICEN and ophthalmology experts from Hospital El Cruce.
