Since we opened our practice in 1988, Retina Consultants, PLLC has been committed to innovation, excellence and providing you with the best eye care available anywhere. We are a referral-only practice limited to diseases and surgery of the retina, macula and vitreous. We have locations in Charleston, Parkersburg, Beckley, Huntington, Logan and Point Pleasant. Retina Consultants, PLLC specializes in the treatment of macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and all other retinal problems. In office Ultrasonography, Angiography, Laser Surgery, Ocular Photodynamic (Visudyne) Therapy, Intravitreal Injections, and Transpupillary Thermotherapy are available. Our practice does not provide primary eye care services such as prescribing eyeglasses, evaluating problems involving the front of the eye, treating cataracts or performing LASIK surgery. Retina Consultants, PLLC doctors treat patients who have been referred by a comprehensive ophthalmologist, optometrist, general practitioner, or endocrinologist that has determined they have a potentially serious disease involving the retina and/or vitreous gel in the back of the eye.
