Personal company for Andreas Sachse. In 2010 I co-founded the industrial design company MAIK (www.bymaik.com) along with the designer Rune Rex, and assisted by marketing/China Guru Andreas Møller. The company designs, produces and distributes its own products that are concept based and with the underlying intention of improving everyday life. In MAIK we all play key roles – currently I’m in charge of Sales & Market and acting as CEO. In early 2012 I took on a challenge to create a 6 weeks app development course. For this purpose I put together an app development method that takes the students through all the major aspects of app development. In late 2012 I also co-founded the upcycling furniture company B A S T A R D that designs and produces sustainable furniture from already existing industrial products that would otherwise have been discarded. B A S T A R D is a celebration of the raw, the patinated and the unpretentious in industrial products that each have their own story to tell. During the Christmas 2012 I began working on a new app that will change the way we store and share recipes. The app project is a joint venture and the app will be released sometime during 2013. In the beginning of 2013 I co-founded the B a s t a r d F e s t i v a l – a two-day-celebration on the theme of upcycling, remixing & sustainability. The 2013 edition of the festival is held in Helsinor city, Denmark.
