Plastic Thatch:
Plastic Thatch (PT) produced from REII’s technology is superior to other current roofing options. This roofing can be used where natural thatch would be used and provides the additional benefits of longer useful life, reduction of solid waste that must be “land-filled” and day-lighting of interior spaces. PT is a significantly superior roof because it sheds water more efficiently, it vents heat, it is quieter in the rain than metal roofs, it lasts 10 times longer than natural thatch and it allows for daylight penetration yielding a much more hospitable living space.
