REUSE2GO was an award-winning sustainability-focused start-up, its mission being to eliminate the use of single-use takeaway food and drink containers. Operating from May 2021 to July 2022, it offered an innovative system allowing consumers to digitally borrow sleek, customisable and highly durable reusable takeaway containers from their favourite food outlets with ease and convenience.
Selected achievements:
● Generated £35K+ in revenue through building a globally-recognised client base (including Cambridge University Press & Assessment and three University of Cambridge Colleges)
● Interviewed on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire and featured in the Cambridge Independent, Ely Standard, CAM Magazine, and Spark Magazine
● Won three grants, including the BIPC Jumpstart grant (one of four winners selected from 40+ companies)
● Winner of a Cambridge Green Impact Special Award and listed as Finalists in the UK & Ireland's Green Gown Awards 2021 in multiple categories
● Selected to participate on reputable Accelerator programs (Accelerate Cambridge (Cambridge Judge Business School) and the Climate Accelerator (Allia Future Business Centre)) and received support from Innovate UK EDGE
