Revenge & R-Bar are Brighton’s leading LGBTQ+ nightlife venues, proudly serving the city’s queer community since 1991. From our iconic seafront nightclub, Revenge, to our vibrant pre-club bar, R-Bar, we create unforgettable nights out where everyone is welcome, celebrated, and safe to be themselves. Founded over three decades ago as one of Brighton’s first dedicated gay nightclubs, we’ve grown into a cornerstone of the city’s LGBTQ+ scene. Our venues host legendary drag shows, club nights, student events, and Pride celebrations, alongside fundraising nights and community-focused initiatives that uplift and support our local LGBTQ+ community. At Revenge & R-Bar, we believe in creating inclusive spaces for people to connect, express themselves, and dance the night away. Our team includes passionate hospitality professionals, resident DJs, drag artists, performers and event managers - all dedicated to keeping Brighton’s nightlife exciting, safe, and open to all.
