Revive Ubuntu

The word "Ubuntu" represents a South African philosophy of life and means "humanity", "compassion" and "public spirit". According to Ubuntu there is a common bond between us all. It is through this bond, that we discover our own human qualities. Today the different cultures in South Africa do not live in Ubuntu with each other. We - Revive Ubuntu - want to change that! We want to revive the Ubuntu philosophy all over the world, especially in South Africa and Austria. How? By filming a documentary about the current racial conflict in South Africa and initiatives to solve it. Moreover, we are organizing events in Austria! Representatives of different cultures and religions come together and discuss how we can improve our relations. As young, committed students, we are convinced that it is never too early to become active and contribute to a world full of peace and charity - to a world of Ubuntu.
