Reviving Lives Overview

The healthcare sector in India is getting degraded day by day due to improper utilisation of resources and lack of awareness amongst its citizens. Consequently, India stands at 145th position out of 192 countries with regard to a proper healthcare system. REVIVING LIVES is a social organisation initiated to cater to the needs of a proper healthcare system in India. We have a vision to provide the poor, the underprivileged, the middle class and the below poverty class people with the opportunity to get enriched through proper health care facilities and awareness. We strongly believe in the saying health is the greatest wealth. A person with a healthy body and mind is able to contribute to himself, his family and society in large. However even as we live in a scientific era, roughly 27% of the people in our country die due to lack of facilities, money, resources and awareness about preventive measures, a healthy lifestyle, personal hygiene etc. Every heart cries when a child dies due to diarrhea or a father due to diabetics. As rightly said - 'prevention is better than cure'. Hence we at Reviving Lives will dedicate our efforts on seminars and awareness workshops in the slums, in shelter homes, in various societies, in colleges and other required areas. Not only this, our main focus will be to dive into the untapped pool of opportunities to provide the much required help to the people to unravel the the greatest gift of their life, HEALTH. Our aim is to ‘revive’ an area/locality/people/ welfare home to make them conscious of their health. An early detection is better than regretting later, we aim to bring awareness to people regarding personal health, first aid, precautions to be taken. Thus with an optimistic outlook and a motivated team of volunteers Reviving Lives aims to ensure that help and health reaches out to diverse target groups including children, elderly people , people with various disabilities, the poor or the rich, since we believe that the greatest gift you can give to you family and this world is 'a healthy you!'
