Revolution Chess is a visionary take on a traditional game made for the next generation of modern Chess thinkers and strategists. The objectives of the game remain consistent with traditional chess, however, the setup of Revolution Chess provides ultimate protection for the King. Pawns, traditionally undervalued, are significantly more powerful as they can choose their path of attack.

The game was created by Jesse Shaw in 2003 while he was in college in Vermont. It wouldn’t become Revolution Chess until 2018 when Shaw was encouraged by a long-time friend to develop it into an official game. In 2019, the first Revolution Chess Tournament was held in Odessa Ukraine. The Website and App were officially launched in 2020.
